The Empowerment Zone is a non-profit organization based out of Los Angeles, CA, that provides resources and opportunities to underserved students by partnering with schools and other community programs. The program is led by first generation college educated women of color who come from the same communities in which they serve. They provide tutoring and even virtual workshops so that they can impact students beyond their local communities. Beyond academics, The Empowerment Zone is committed to providing individualized support to help children sustain self-esteem and resilience and an overall good quality of life.

-Back to School Supply Drive
-First Generation College Student Success Workshop
Currently they are fundraising to grant the Rose Scholarship to a college bound senior for the 2021-2022 academic year. The scholarship is in honor of the late Chief Operating Officer, Milan Rose. See below for ways you can donate:
